Higham Celebrates the Tour de France, 8th July 2007

The world's biggest annual sporting event came through Higham for the first time ever this summer. The first stage of the Tour de France (www.letour.fr) started in London on Sunday, 8 July 2007.  The competitive cyclists visited Greenwich, Dartford and Gravesend before sweeping through Higham along the A226 Gravesend Road on their way to the Medway Towns, en-route to the stage finish in Canterbury.
