After many months of trying and long hours spent drawing
up work lists, plans and budgets, the Memorial Hall Management Committee
are pleased that the refurbishment work is now completed. Already heavily used by village hirers, it is a purpose-built venue with a large hall and a separate small meeting room which are available for your event, meeting or celebration party. Extensive car parking, commercially fitted kitchen, stage with curtains, comfortable seating, flexible internal lighting and lots, lots more. refurbishment work involved provision of
new disabled toilets; replacement of the main hall flooring; new window
frames and glazing; and, resurfacing of the car park. As well as being pleased about this grant award from the Big Lottery Fund, the Higham Memorial Hall Management Committee add some £10,000 of their own funds to ensure a complete and successful job is achieved. |
